NORTH TONAWANDA – Members of the Carnegie Art Center are welcome to submit one piece of their artwork for a members exhibition. First place in the members art show will win a solo art show in 2014 and cash awards.
Artwork must be submitted from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Carnegie Art Center, 240 Goundry St. The exhibition will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 12 and continue through Oct. 4 at the art center.
For submission, artists must be at least 18 years old, and work must have been completed within the past three years. Membership may be renewed during artwork drop-off.
All two-dimensional work, no larger than 3 feet by 4 feet, must be wired and ready to hang, no sawtooth hangers accepted. Other two-dimensional work must be no larger than 6 feet high, 3 feet wide and 3 feet deep. Video and digital work is accepted, but artists must provide their own equipment.
Commission on all artwork sold is 30 percent.
