NIAGARA FALLS – Rocking chairs are at the ready for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s 12th annual fundraiser Rock-a-Thon, set to take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday in the hospital’s upper lobby.
Participants will rock a half-hour at a time to collect on the pledges they will have solicited. The event, put on by the hospital auxiliary, has raised $100,000 in past years.
Rockers receive free parking for the day and a 20 percent discount coupon for the medical center gift shop.
Would-be rockers should call Mary Norton at 278-4159 or Jane Schroeder at 579-3406.
