LOCKPORT – Recent projects in the technology and advanced manufacturing sectors will be profiled during the fifth annual Niagara Business Familiarization Tour, sponsored by the Niagara County Economic Development Alliance. The tour will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
The tour features a video presentation at Lockport’s Historic Palace Theatre, followed by a walking tour of the new Trek facility in Harrison Place and a reception at the Flight of Five Winery, according to R. Charles Bell, chairman of the event.
About 80 developers, commercial realtors, bankers and other business people involved in selecting sites for businesses are expected to participate in the tour. Besides Trek, the video will highlight other recently completed projects, including Greenpac Mill, Niagara Falls; Taylor Devices, North Tonawanda; Edwards Vacuum, Wheatfield; and Yahoo, Lockport.
