LOCKPORT – Three Niagara County legislators and their opponents will meet in a debate at 7 p.m. Thursday in Lockport Town Hall, Old Beattie and Dysinger roads.
The Niagara USA Chamber and the Lockport Business Association are sponsoring the debate.
The lineup includes:
• Majority Leader Richard E. Updegrove, R-Lockport, and his 12th District opponent, Democrat Anthony P. Molinaro.
• Legislator Anthony J. Nemi, I-Lockport, and his 11th District opponent, Democrat David J. Naus.
• Legislator Michael A. Hill, R-Hartland, and his 15th District Conservative opponent, Joshua D. Walker, who also is running with Democratic backing.
The event is open to the public.
Chamber government affairs director Kory Schuler promised “a structured question-and-answer session.”
