LOCKPORT – The city has announced that, beginning today, it will begin accepting credit cards for gasoline sales and boat slip rentals at Nelson C. Goehle-Widewaters Marina.
Earlier this year, in a push spearheaded by Common Council Finance Committee Chairman Kenneth M. Genewick, the city began taking plastic for parking fines through the city website, and at the City Clerk’s Office for payments and purchases there.
The city expects to add credit cards to the payment methods allowed for the next round of refuse user fees in October, Genewick said.
