The Western New York Coalition for the Homeless is going to new heights to raise funds for its fifth annual Project Homeless Connect event.
The agency hopes to raise $10,000 in donations through a campaign called “Freefall for the Homeless: Skydiving for a Cause.” The campaign ends Wednesday. If the goal is met, five members of the Project Homeless Connect planning committee will jump out of a plane. To donate, visit www.razoo.com and search “Freefall for the Homeless.”
Project Homeless Connect, which provides services and information for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, will be held Sept. 5 in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. For information, visit www.phcbuffalo.com.
