LOCKPORT – A Lockport man pleaded guilty and a North Tonawanda man was sent to jail Wednesday in drunken driving cases before Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas.

Peter L. Reed, 41, of Scovell Street, Lockport, admitted to felony driving while intoxicated and was sent to an inpatient rehabilitation facility to await sentencing Oct. 2. He had been in jail since his June 2 arrest. Deputy District Attorney Theodore A. Brenner recommended an assignment to Lockport Drug Court, but County Judge Sara Sheldon Farkas has the option of imprisoning Reed for as long as four years.

Raymond B. Miller Jr., 55, of Wurlitzer Drive, North Tonawanda, drew 60 days in jail, three years’ probation and $1,400 in fines and surcharges for his misdemeanor DWI plea. He was arrested Aug. 21 in North Tonawanda.
