LEWISTON – Investigators on Monday identified the driver of a car in a fatal accident on Lower River Road as David Kumpf, 37, of the Town of Tonawanda.
They said he was pronounced dead in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, of injuries he suffered when his car struck a utility pole at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 4400 block of Lower River Road.
