LOCKPORT – Four employees at the Niagara County Correctional Facility have been promoted, Sheriff James R. Voutour announced.
Kevin M. Payne is now chief jail administrator. He had been a captain since 1996 and a corrections officer before that. He was hired in 1985.
Aaron M. Livergood has been promoted to captain from sergeant, a post he has filled since 2011. He was hired in 1998 and became a full-time corrections officer in 2001, officials said.
David M. Weaver is now a sergeant after spending about two years as an acting sergeant. He has worked in the Sheriff’s Office for 12 years.
Jonathan L. Wilt was promoted to acting sergeant. He is a nine-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office.
