LOCKPORT – The 2013-14 Lockport Public Library budget was overwhelmingly approved Wednesday, director Beverly Federspiel said.
The vote was 183-33 in favor of the $1.6 million spending plan and its tax levy increase of $27,387, or 2 percent.
The tax is charged to residents of the Lockport City School District on their annual school tax bills. The budget increases spending by $22,133 over this year’s version.
